Merry Boxing Day

Thermal crew sweater + fleece polo + crosshatch stripe shirt + grey low-rise boot-cut pants + knock-off Converse All-Star shoes + six pairs of socks = $161.72.

My dad gave me $60 for Christmas to buy Boxing Day stuff, so I really only spent $100 today.

My brother bought a zip hoodie, a pair of jeans, three (!) pairs of shoes, a Logitech MX700, The Simpsons Season 6 DVD, two undershirts and a Mr. Pibb + Red Vines = Crazy Delicious t-shirt for about $400. I really want his Pumas and his Crazy Delicious t-shirt.

Yay for shopping with people who spend lots; thus, making me feel better about how much I spent.

‘Tis the season to spend money

I’m working a lot in the next week to make up for all my spending.

If any of you could come visit me at Blenz, I would very much appreciate it.

I am going to reward myself with a cheapo steam-driven Krups Allegro from Sears because I keep losing all the eBay bids I’ve placed on various Gaggia machines.

Chrissy will be proud

My Music 120 prof asks the strangest questions on exams.

Name one artist who records mediaeval or Renaissance music.

… What? We never studied that in class. I tried to think of some mention of mediaeval recording artists from class, but I couldn’t come up with anything. In the end, I put the Mediaeval Baebes because I remember Chrissy mentioning them one time.

Name the author of your textbook.

He asked this on one of the midterms as well.

Give the allegorical interpretation of: “Your breasts are like clusters of grapes.”

That made me blank for a while. When I came back to this question, I made up a bunch of crap about the fruit clusters being the Christians who are nourished with the milk of Christ. Which is kinda … weird. But I couldn’t think of anything else. Anyways…

Two finals down, two to go.

Simon and I watched Harry Potter at Paramount afterwards to commemorate the end of Music 120. I can’t believe this is the first Harry Potter movie I’ve seen. I really need to go back and watch the other three.

Last assignment of the semester

After sitting glued to this chair for the past six hours, I’ve finally finished my programming lab, with seven hours to spare! A quick bit of SSH action will officially bring me into the exam season.

Note to self: When something is assigned three weeks before it is due, it’s probably because it will take a long time to finish.
