With the federal election days away and the possibility of a Torie win, it’s getting fairly dramatic. Although I’m notoriously ignorant about politics, it’s hard to not hear about all the drama surrounding this election. I’ve been keeping up with it by checking up Pollstr.
Pollstr uses Google Maps to generate a map of all the political ridings in Canada with the the leading party in each, based on the previous election and current polls. It’s interesting to see how the nation is divided up between each party. According to the latest polls, Vancouver East has the strongest NDP support in any riding in Canada!
I want to cry. And possibly leave the country.
Because of the Conservatives? Or just the whole thing in general?
You can move to Norway or some other Scandanavian country with me, Alicia. Or how about Chile? They just elected that nifty socialist lady.
Stewart! Why did you not tell me of this website sooner? I’m going to be on there for hours now.
Pfft. Not the Conservatives. Harper! There’s a difference. I’m sure some of them are really nice guys who didn’t have to have a complete personality makeover from the space missile defence system that doesn’t work-kisser.
