A double elimination?! That’s crazy talk. As soon as I saw that Last Team sign, I figured that the “new surprise” was that the last team would get to leave at the same time as the first teams. I thought that Phil at the mat was just for show.
I’ve still got to finish Music homework, so here’s some quick notes about tonight’s The Amazing Race season opener:
I was sad to see both Bilal and Sa’eed and Vipul and Arti eliminated so early on in the race. This season’s diversity quotient took a quite a quick nose dive.
I’m rooting for Tyler and James and Dustin and Kandice ’cause they’re young and pretty.
I’m still on the fence with Peter and Sarah. It’s amazing that Sarah can do all these physical challenges even with a prosthetic leg, but Peter’s tone is so condescending.
I loved how airport security confiscated Erwin and Godwin’s squirt guns. Heeee.
“Real Fast! Quack! Quack!” may edge out “It’s okay! Just run them over!” as my favourite taxi-hurrying line ever.
