Wow

After months of anticipation and preparation, we finally did casting for the murder mystery musical today. Miranda and I were pleasantly surprised to find that some really good candidates came to audition for us. I was really worried about it just not working out and having to abandon the music portion of the show, but it looks like we’ve got enough singers for the main roles. It makes me so happy that we have people who can carry the songs! I’m crossing my fingers, hoping that it will all work out.

Right after auditions, I had to run over to my Iolanthe rehearsal. I can’t believe that in a month and a day, the production will be over. It’s so weird because now we’re counting down to the show instead of counting up how long we’ve been practicing for.

On a completely random note, when I got home, I was greeted to the incredibly odd sight of my mother playing Wii and my dad surfing YouTube. What’s this world coming to?

“Hello Boys, time to die”

You may or may not remember that one of Nick Carter’s pet projects was his collaboration with comic creator Stan Lee.  Together, they produced a Backstreet Boys-themed comic, The Backstreet Project.  In addition to printed comic books, they also produced several webisodes which were posted in their fanclub.  Thankfully, they have been resurrected on a Stan Lee fan site so we will never forget the story of how the Boys’ magical amulets helped them save the world from evil droids.
